When it comes to fitness, everyone is different. For that reason we want to know from you what your fitness goals are, where you are looking to take sessions, and the date and time of the week you’re available.

Once you have filled out these details, local trainers may also initiate messages based on the information you have provided. If you think they would be a good fit, log into your account to message back.

Each trainer has their own way of helping you either lose weight, get back on track or take your fitness to the next level.

On each trainer profile you can read other student reviews, view their certifications, and get a sense of their training style.

Once you have found the trainer right for you, click “Continue” on their profile, or on the page you may have been messaging the trainer, to reserve your spot in their schedule.

At this point you will also add your card on file but you will only be charged at the completion of a session. There is no initial charge through FitnessTrainer.

Once you sign up, the trainer you have selected will be alerted to get in contact with you via text, call, or email. Initially they will introduce themselves and discuss the session details.

You are also able to message with trainers prior to and after sign up via our messaging platform. Send messages directly via a trainers profile, get responses via email.

Now it’s time to get to work! It may be hard work but you’ll have your trainer to motivate and guide you every step of the way.

If for any reason you would like to select a new trainer, it is simple to do so. Either log into your account and click “My Trainer” for local results or conduct a new zip code search. If messaging with a new trainer its a simple click to sign up on the messaging screen.

Again, even though your card is already on file, you won’t be charged unless you complete sessions with a new trainer.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long are sessions?

Sessions are typically 1 hour long. However your session package is flexible and the hours purchased can be used to schedule for a variety of lengths, so if your trainer recommends you do a 30 minute or hour and a half session, it gives you the flexibility to do so.

How often should I take sessions?

You can take sessions at your own pace, but ultimately it depends on your fitness goals. This is something you will be able to discuss with your trainer to ensure that you are taking the right number of sessions per week.

Can I start with a trial session?

There is a 4 hour minimum commitment, but if you are not happy after the first session, we offer a 100% money back guarantee. We will also switch you to another trainer at any point in your package if you feel like you need something different.

How much does it cost?

The price of training sessions varies depending on the trainer you select as well as how many sessions you purchase up front. Each trainers price varies depending on their experience and area of expertise.

I have a friend who wants to take sessions with me, is that OK?

Yes, we offer private, semi-private sessions (2 people), and group sessions (3 or more). We do not have any set group classes that you can join, but feel free to book sessions with as many people as you want. Each person you add to a session package purchase is only an additional $10 dollars. So taking a session with a friend will not only allow you to find your comfort zone if you have a friend by your side, but you will also save on the hourly rate.

Do you offer sessions to beginners?

Of course! Whether you have never been into fitness, have neglected fitness for years, or are currently on a fitness kick, we have a trainer who can help. We understand that getting started can be the most daunting part which is why we think it is so important to sign up with a trainer who can show you the way.

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule a session?

Simply contact your coach to reschedule. To give our coaches enough time to reschedule, we request this to be done 24 hours in advance. Regarding more permanent changes such as a new location, time of day, or package plan, you can either email or call us directly at 877-660-5552 and we will be more than happy to find a time and location that works best for you.
