Hi! I'm Zhi. I am originally from Syracuse. I started my professional training career at Equinox Midtown, where I honed my skills and expertise to become a high-end trainer. This experience allowed me to collaborate with clients of all fitness levels, helping them achieve their goals while maintaining both professional and personal connections. My training philosophy centers on feeling great about yourself, looking at your best, moving well daily and developing a trusting relationship between clients. I do take pride in myself for being versatile and thinking quick on my feet. So, I tailor my approach to meet each client's fitness goals and needs, ensuring open communication every step of the way and being open minded to everyone's needs. I assess each client’s individual needs, consideration, strength and weakness. From there, we create a plan/program that will attack your fitness goals. I always encourage and reinforce positivity to my clients, because everything is achievable as along as you put in the time and effort, but, having honest conversation is important as well with all my clients. Because, training is a two way street, you need to put in the time and effort on your own.
I used to train a client who was 100lbs overweight. He was very unhappy and down on his physical look. So, we took baby steps to improve his physical health, but most important his mental health and keeping him in a positive and push ahead attitude. Once, he was able to lose his 100lbs and plus. I took pride in a collaboration effort with him and helping him achieve his goals.
