I am both a licensed muscular therapist and exercise physiologist. I strive for the optimal blend of exercise, massage and performance nutrition to enable the optimization of effort and full, fast recovery, the key factor in driving results. I have served as an Army Special Forces medic, having twice completed the very demanding Special Forces Assessment and Selection trials. I understand athletic performance and preparation very well. Also, I have held certifications as a Certified Strength Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Certified Personal Trainer with the NSCA and as a Super Slow Instructor. I am college educated in SCUBA, Lifeguarding and Water Safety (Swim) Instruction . It was through my experience with Super Slow that I learned the effectiveness and efficiency of slow, controlled interval strength conditioning once or twice per week for brief periods. Depending on your exercise preferences and available time, I can help you tailor an approach to conditioning that optimizes your efforts and speeds recovery rather than inhibiting it. My preferred method of training is strength interval training with machines or free weights, as this is the most effective and efficient means of achieving total fitness. Still, I have ample experience with "aerobic" forms of conditioning. Once again, effective conditioning comes down to crafting a skillful blend of intensity of effort, frequency, duration, and most importantly, appropriate recovery time. This hold true, of course, with all modes of conditioning, and most importantly, in one's daily activities aside from exercise. You do not have to slave for hours each week in the gym in order to achieve a high level of total fitness. William D Miller, BS, CSCS, LMT

I have a friend who has scoliosis, neck and shoulder injuries, a knee that had been in four surgeries and fibromyalgia. Within a matter of days training in the Super Slow model for twelve minutes and about 20 minutes of sport massage, twice per week, this 55 year old woman began to experience remarkable results, with dramatic improvements n strength and pain free range of motion throughout her physique.

I have known Bill for many years and find him to be very well educated as well as kind and soft spoken.
He has the dual advantage of being an exercise physiologist/conditioning coach, and a licensed massage therapist.
In the gym, followed by massage sessions, Bill has patiently guided me past my physical issues, many times.
In training with Bill twice a week for about fifteen minutes, I was able to get stronger from one session to the next, and in his very skillful massages he located and eliminated trigger points I did not know I had.
He is the only massage therapist who can cause me to fall asleep during the massage.
I have had several knee surgeries, rotator cuff surgery, a debilitating neck injury, and I have scoliosis and fibromyalgia.
Bill's massage and exercise capabilities have been a priceless contribution to my lifestyle and well being.
