About Me

Hi, my name is Timothy. I'm originally from a small town in the Midwest and am a former NCAA athlete in track and cross country at the University of Missouri (where I also received my BS in exercise science), I have been living in Miami for the past 20 years. During that time, I have been a successful certified professional trainer and personal training manager for Equinox, Sports Club LA, Crunch, and David Barton Gym. My complete focus is coaching you to goal related results and getting them safely. I am a certified coach with Precision Nutrition and believe that all successful programs include movement, good nutrition, proper rest, and great motivation. I have worked hard to possess a wide scope of knowledge and can find the BEST way to help you reach your best. I am proficient with many training modalities, including kettlebells, TRX, dumb bells, barbells, bands, ropes, and even body weight. I also make the initial FMS test/assessment and subsequent re-assessments an important part of any program that I design.

What to Expect

A training session will typically consist of foam rolling (self mayo-facial release), dynamic warm-up and corrective exercise (where/when necessary) and a brief cool down and stretch. The main part of the workout will vary depending on our goals. I am NOT a number counter, I am your coach! I also will give you specific tasks for home and be involved as much as you need to be successful. You will also laugh, I promise!

My best success story is one of a client that lost nearly 100 lbs. This was an obvious change to her exterior. In addition, there also was a significant change to her interior. With these changes, she left her career as a Ph.D. at a university and became a private yoga teacher and spinning instructor.
