Let me start by saying if you're looking for the type of trainer that gets his workouts from body building magazines, wants you doing a bunch of burpies or muscle ups, or thinks repetitive flexion of your spine is good for your back and a perfect way to get a 6 pack, run...don't walk away from this profile as I am not that type of trainer. My goal is to get you moving better with an emphasis on mobility (think foam rolling, percussion therapy, assisted stretching, and the like to start every workout). Many people want to jump right into workouts without realizing that if they don't have the proper range of motion, they will not be able to perform an exercise efficiently and may end up injuring themselves. I cannot tell you how many times I've started with a client who tells me their last trainer injured them by having them doing exercises they had no business doing because it was something cool they saw in a magazine or a YouTube video. I have 22 years of personal training experience specializing in TRX suspension and Rip Training, VIPR, battling ropes, and a variety of body-weight training. I also am an FMT Mobility Specialist (Self Myofascial Release). Throughout my tenure as a trainer, I have worked with clients ranging in age from 19-83 years old, some with special needs, and a variety of fitness goals. I have helped people get in shape for weddings, reunions, weight loss, toning, and overall fitness. I am deeply committed to helping clients achieve success, a happier and healthier life, and the best version of themselves.

My biggest success story was a client that loss 100lbs in one year. Upon meeting, we discussed her fitness goals and health history. We formulated a plan that implemented simple lifestyle changes, a realistic diet, and purposeful workout regimens. Outside of her training days, she incorporated physical activity into her day-to-day life (i.e. taking the stairs instead of the elevator and parking a little further away). She combined nutrient-rich foods with a healthy balance of fiber and fat to feel satiated throughout her day. Her workout routines were varied, with plenty of cardio to reach her target heart rate and encourage weight-loss. As she shed weight and gained strength, she acquired a new sense of confidence that enabled her to accomplish immeasurably more during her workouts. At year’s end, when her goals were realized, it was truly gratifying knowing that I was able to contribute to her success.
