About Me

My fitness journey began as an athlete. I played competitive softball from the minute my dad could get a glove on my hand. One day I woke up as a high school athlete looking for a college scholarship. I HATED fitness and nutrition. However, I wasn’t delusional enough to think I would be getting any collegiate attention without increasing strength and speed. I found myself working with a trainer at a gym very similar in size to the one I work with clients at now. I remember telling the trainer (who I now work next to and would consider a friend), “I’m here to get stronger and faster. Nothing more, nothing less. I hate working out and I refuse to change my diet.” She respected my wishes by simply suggesting small changes that I slowly began to incorporate into my lifestyle. I soon found our training sessions together to be the best part of my day and working out alone became therapeutic. It wasn’t long after that I began my journey as a college athlete and realized I wanted to make a difference in the health and fitness world. I am now a Rockhurst University senior studying exercise science. I plan to continue my education with physical therapy school in the summer of 2020 in order to reach more people. My passion for exercise and nutrition grows everyday and I would love for YOU to feel the same way!

I've been training with Taylor since June 2018. Having not exercised regularly in quite awhile, I was a bit wary about reaching out to a personal trainer. I didn't know if I could commit to a structured workout routine and meal plan.

It was evident to me in the first meeting with Taylor, I had made the right decision. She is a delightful young lady who truly wants me to succeed.
