Your Best Self Fitness began in 2018 specializing in functional training with emphasis on proper form. We can structure workouts depending on your goals including general toning and flexibility, muscular endurance or strength, and/or sports specific conditioning. My name is Taylor Cope and I am the head trainer at Your Best Self. I specialize in helping women with the mental and emotion struggles they have with eating and exercise. My goal is to help all women of all sizes learn to love and accept their body and to take care of themselves from a place of love. My passion started for fitness very young when I was a gymnast. After my gymnastic career ended I wanted to help other athletes strive to be better. However, along the way I battled with disordered eating and body image issues, so my mission has become much bigger. I became certified as a Food & Body Freedom Coach (Hungry for Happiness), which focuses on the mental & emotional side of weight issues, body image issues, and lack of self confidence. I have worked with a wide variety of clients and my background in Exercise Science gives me the knowledge to build exercise programs for client’s individual needs. I also puts lot of emphasis on helping my clients build a better mindset that will enhance their everyday life and help achieve long lasting results.

A typical training session for my average client is a full body circuit workout. I hit all body parts in each workout while also getting the heart rate up. I adjust the workouts depending on the clients physical abilities. I make sure the client is performing correct form and that the client is enjoying the workout!
