I'm Sydney and I have a passion for helping others improve their quality of life. I have worked with all kinds of people including kids, adults, seniors, and athletes. I'm a student at the University of Texas at Austin studying Kinesiology, and I absolutely love lifting weights. I focus on strength and stability, so we can maximize your potential in every day life.
American Counsil on Exercise
A client can expect a dynamic warm up, getting the heart rate up and stretching the muscles that will primarily be used during the session. Next, there will be a strength portion of the workout. This involves mostly multi-joint movements such as squatting. Then, depending on the client's goals, there will be one or two circuits focusing on the client's needs. These circuits will keep the heart rate up and will challenge muscular endurance as well. After the training session, we will then work on flexibility.
I have a client that suffered from low back pain when I first started training her. We worked on core stability and spinal mobility for a while, and now her low back pain is significantly better. I believe strengthening her core helped with back pain, and if I can help improve the every day lives of individuals then I feel that is a success.
