My name is Stefany, and I have been working in the fitness industry for 11 years. My fitness journey began in 2006 when I entered my freshman year of college. Not being accustomed to the daily demands of college work, I quickly became very stressed out, and I turned to aerobics classes and running on a daily basis to relieve my stress. In turn, I ended up losing 15 pounds instead of gaining “the freshman 15.” Soon after my freshman year, I began teaching up to five aerobics classes per week, and began helping others become the best versions of themselves. The opportunity to teach fitness wasn’t just beneficial to those who would partake in my classes, but unbeknownst to me, it helped me choose my college major. In 2010, I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Management with a concentration in Wellness and Fitness, from California University of Pennsylvania. I have been a certified Fitness Trainer through ISSA since 2012, and I have recently obtained my Strength and Conditioning Coach certification in April 2014. As of 2018, I am a Certified Specialist in Nutrition. I have experience in weight loss and sports nutrition, as well. I have worked on and developed fitness and diet plans for individuals from ages 12 to 93. I love to work with all types of people, and feel that each workout program should be very specific and specialized to fit the needs of the individual. Besides personal training, I have been competing in the world of Bodybuilding since 2009. I have competed in both figure and bikini, and I’m currently a competitive figure athlete. I believe the best investment you can make is in yourself.

I believe that we sometimes lack awareness of how great our bodies are designed to feel, so during a session with me, I hope to teach you something about yourself and show you how to push your body past its comfort zone.
I trained a 76 year old woman for a little over a year. When I first met her, she was using both a walker and a cane, and was recovering from sciatica surgery. About 7 months into our training, she made the tough decision to get a total hip replacement. Post surgery, her surgeon recommended that she begin physical therapy before returning to her regular weight training sessions with me. After TWO sessions in physical therapy, her therapist released her back to me saying that she was in "such great physical condition prior to her surgery, her recovery rate would be even faster". Three month post surgery, my client is walking on the treadmill (for the first time) , performing exercises that she was unable to do prior to, and improving her strength within those exercises.
