I graduated from St. Edwards University in Austin with a degree in kinesiology and communications minor. In addition to my bachelor’s degree I also have an associate’s degree in Public Health/Kinesiology from Austin Community College. I grew up participating in a variety of sports which developed my love for athletics and fitness. I was a former high school swimmer and also swam U.S. Masters at the University of Texas. I took my love of swimming and fitness and have worked as an aquatics director, swim coach, swim instructor, lifeguard, and as an aquatic exercise instructor. I am certified as a personal trainer (2008) and group exercise instructor (2013) with AFAA/NASM, and worked for the YMCA of Williamson County for 8 years. While at the YMCA, I worked with youth and adults teaching classes and camps such as boot camp, junior boot camp and kid fit. In addition to designing exercises programs and completing fitness evaluations, I also assisted with the marketing and fundraising of several YMCA sponsored 5K and 5 mile races. When I see clients transform their lives and they are feeling better about themselves, it makes what I do so much more rewarding. I think when you do something you love, you never really have to work a day in your life. I also believe when you set your time to do something and realize it’s harder than you thought it would be, a good motivator and coach can be your best cheerleader to help you achieve the goals you set for yourself and allow you to see the person you know is inside of you trying to get out!

I love fitness, nutrition and sports. I also believe fitness and nutrition work together in order to create a perfectly balanced lifestyle! I will teach you to think "diet" is bad word! Life is not about having to cut out the foods you or starving yourself in order to lose a couple of pounds. Life is about how you feel and what makes your body work in harmony with the foods you eat. I will teach you how and what to eat in addition to how to exercise for your new lifestyle! I promise you will have just as much fun doing the exercises as I will teaching and coaching you! I specialize in small group training, functional movement, strength and conditioning and weight loss.
From our first meeting with Stacy Howard, we felt comfortable and safe with her training style. My husband and I are in our early 60’s, 70’s, and were looking to gain strength and balance. After trying gym memberships over the years, we knew we needed to develop an in-home fitness program. Stacy provided that and more, meeting with us in our home and teaching us not only the correct exercises to meet our goals, but also the proper form to avoid injury. She also gave us nutrition advice to build muscle, and tailored the program as needed when we had muscle issues from golf and tennis. After about a year of seeing Stacy each week, we definitely looked and felt stronger, and were able to complete the balancing exercises with no or minimal “holding on” to the chair! Due to a health issue with a family member, we had to stop our sessions. But thanks to Stacy, we had the training foundation to keep up with our in-home fitness program. Thank you, Stacy!
