Hi, my name is Stacey. I love to help others and feel fortunate that I have been able to combine my passion for health and fitness and my passion for working with people into a career. My mission is to help my clients learn to live a healthy lifestyle and to make it as enjoyable as possible no matter how busy and stressed out they feel. I’ll provide the accountability and motivation you need to stay on track and I always tailor each program to the client based on their goals and needs. I have multiple certifications in nutrition and weight loss so in addition to designing fun and effective workouts, I also show clients how to properly fuel their bodies to help reach their goals in the safest, healthiest way possible. I have a private studio at my home that I train out of so no need to purchase a gym membership or go to a busy gym
National Academy of Sports Medicine
Each session is tailored to the client but typically there is a warm-up followed by some specific stretches and foam rolling. Then we would work on some balance exercises and/or speed and agility while muscles are still fresh. Then some resistance/strength training. For most clients I will work cardio training into the entire workout to keep heart rates up and calories burning.
My very first client still trains with me. She has Cerebral Palsy which impairs her entire left side but has trained hard and consistently so that she can now do assisted pull-ups, balance on a BOSU and hold a plank for over 2 minutes. She has lost over 40 pounds and now feels confident enough with her physical abilities and knowledgable enough to modify exercises to join a gym and jump into whatever group fitness class she pleases.
