Hi my name is Spencer. I am a personal trainer, nutrition coach and amateur MMA fighter living in Nashville Tennessee. I have been training people in martial arts and fitness for the past 9 years part time. It was when got news of having my son that I decided to become accredited and pursue it full-time. I have A very good knowledge and understanding of all aspects of fitness and am a lifelong learner of it as well but I if I had to point out a specialty it would be cardio endurance and strength as I’ve been able to help people reach levels in these they didn’t know they could get.

In an average typical training session we will always start out stretching as this is extremely important. Then we will move on to a quick warmup which may involve anything from walking to hitting boxing mits. Next we will move on to the bulk of the session with 6 to 9 exercises which will vary widely depending on your goals before going into a cool down period followed by a finishing stretching
I had a client with several limitations including multiple cervical fusions in her neck and a surgery for a torn meniscus. She wanted to get these limitations stronger so she would feel better while also increasing her general fitness level. We started slow with very low impact exercise and regular stretching and functional balance exercises while also working on cardio respiratory function. After only 20 sessions her cardio improved to being able to do a light jog, her strength and technique improved all the way up to using free weights and her overall fitness level increased two fold with how she felt on a daily basis and her activity level. The pain in her knee completely went away and the limitations from her neck drastically improved. This was from how we targeted the muscles around her neck while also improving posture and also the cardio along with good training.
