Hi, my name is Sebastian. I have a masters degree in Kinesiology/Exercise Physiology and my undergraduate minor was in nutrition food science. I have been personal training for 12 years. I also coached high school football and basketball for 7 years and also have an extensive background in specialized speed and sport training for football and basketball. I am the owner of my own fitness company here in Atlanta, TailoredFitnessATL My training style revolves around interval training, with various intensities from low to moderate to high. I have been doing in home training since 2009 in Atlanta, I have also worked for one commercial gym and one personal training studio. My priorities: 1. Results 2. Endurance, strength, stamina, functional strength and mobility, etc) I tailor each session specific to each client's needs and current fitness level.
My biggest success story is myself. I played sports in high school and when I stopped I gained a lot of weight. I was over 350lbs at one point. I lost 120lbs since I became a fitness professional. I know how it feels to be morbidly obese and have an emotional problem with food. I do not believe in diets, I believe in eating for health and wellness. I was hesitant to workout with a personal trainer. It's a vulnerable situation in which you really can't hide from your strength and your motivation (or in my case, lack thereof). Working with Sebastian feels more like hanging out with a [strict] friend. He's encouraging yet challenging and friendly yet stern. I found his workouts to be catered specifically to me and my needs unlike other experiences where I felt as though I was merely practicing a one-size-fits-all program. I'd highly recommend Sebastian as your go-to professional personal trainer.
Sebastian is a great personal trainer! He is knowledgeable, he has two degrees in exercise science and you can tell the difference between him and other trainers that only have a certificate. He is friendly and nice but pushes you as far as you can go. I lost 36 pounds in 5 months and I have managed to keep the weight off for 2 years training with Sebastian. He comes to my apartment complex in Midtown and trains me at the gym at the apartment complex. He brings his equipment with him, we have also trained in my living room when the gym is too crowded, often times those workouts feel tougher than using the equipment in the gym at my apartment complex. I would recommend him to everyone looking to lose weight, get in shape, and get more fit and healthy.
