I believe that our bodies are meant to be extensions of ourselves. There are so many voices out there in the news and online that say our body is a beast that must be tamed and brought to submission but this isn’t true or healthy. I come from a background in wresting and freerunning where I used my body to explore and define who I was as a person. I fought adversity and conquered challenges physically that made me who I am mentally and emotionally. I became a trainer to help people find themselves the way I continue to find myself everyday, through physical growth and expression.

At Catalyst we offer small group, semi-private training. Our point of pride is that the gym is your space while you are here. We never have more than three clients working with a trainer at once and the space isn't open to the public. This means you have my full attention while you are here and there will never be any time spent waiting for equipment or a crowd watching you work out. For my sessions, I draw on my experience with a variety of fitness and nutritional backgrounds to help find what works for you and best achieve your goals whether that is interval training, body weight movements, or traditional weight lifting. Most sessions will include a combination of those three things.
In my time as a trainer I have had clients of every type with every goal imaginable. In recent years, I've spent a lot of time with clients recovering from training injuries who have come to me from CrossFit or training on their own. Most of these clients are able to fully heal in 4-6 weeks and get back to training at a high level again with no long term repercussions.
