I began my journey as a fitness professional in 2015, after graduating from the American Academy of Personal Training. From there I continued my pursuit of knowledge by applying, and being accepted into the strength and conditioning internship at Harvard University. That experience greatly improved my understanding of exercise science, and also helped provide extra hands-on experience by working with hundreds of Division-I athletes. After completing that internship I got my first job at Cambridge Athletic Club, where I was hired as a personal trainer and group exercise instructor. A few years later I decided to move to Maryland, and began training clients on my own as well as an employee at big box gyms. Since that time I have trained hundreds of athletes and clients, helping them reach their individual goals but also enhancing quality of life. Training is my passion and I'm grateful I've been able to turn that passion into a career.

In a typical session, every client can expect to be motivated and challenged in a way that will help them reach their fitness goals as effectively and efficiently as possible. Because the end goal of most clients vary, along with individual differences, the dynamic of the workout itself will differ for each client.
My most proud client success story comes from one of the first clients that I had, who was on medication for both high cholesterol and high blood pressure. Prior to us working together, Mike had been on medication for both of those for 9 years. After working with me, Mike was able to come off of the blood pressure medication and lower his dosage for the cholesterol medication. He will definitely be coming off of it the next time he goes for a check up.
