Hello! my name is Sara and I have been passionate about health and fitness pretty much my whole life. I can remember being in high school and being the only one concerned about the school lunch not being nutritious enough. From there I went on to compete D1 college track at Western Illinois University and competed in several body building competitions and love spreading my knowledge on my social media. I am now working as a certified personal trainer and am very passionate about my clients and getting them to not only physical but mental health.

My sessions are intense and motivating depending upon your goals. My sessions will leave you feeling accomplished and empowered.
I have worked with many people and have countless stories but I think one of my favorites was client who struggled to get and keep her weight under 200lbs (had been trying for a year) was very motivated and brought the right attitude to every session. In just 4 weeks working together we hit her lowest weigh in ever and only continued to drop. Today she is keeping a healthy routine in and out of the gym and has stayed at 150lbs her goal!

I am fifty, 70 lbs overweight, I don’t enjoy sweating, and I am taking anti-depressants for depression and anxiety. It is very very difficult for me to do anything about my health. I know that others like me understand this. But it was time to do something about my health so I searched FitnessTrainer and found Sara. She has been VERY patient and understanding about my anxiety. She’s kept our workouts calm, focused and effective even though I’ve asked her to keep things as basic as possible...nothing too fast or frantic like I’ve always imagined a professional trainer workout would be. So once I fight thru the anxiety attack about going to the gym and working out, and I get there and we start our session, I actually feel hopeful and proud of myself. It’s been quite some time since I’ve felt proud of myself for anything, and so I’m REALLY enjoying that. My family is proud of me, too!
