Hello! I am a fitness specialist in the Portland Metro Area.I am a former OBT ballerina, and a current boxer in the area. I love music and play 7 instruments along with my love of fitness. I play summer soccer and basketball league as well. I have certifications in training, lifting, boxing, dance, yoga and pilates. I specialize in Nutrition and Hormones. Hormones have a huge role in the way your body carries fat, and the way that it will build muscle. Using this specialization I am able to pin point what types of exercises work best for your body to maximize results! I have a specialty in nutrition, using food and or supplements to help us all along the process. I have worked specifically with rehabilitation, pre and post natal, and Diabetic fitness as well as general training.

Training sessions should be fun! There are infinite ways to reach your goals, so we should never have to do something we do not enjoy. I incorporate as many different types of exercises to reach the entire body. Depending on the goals of my client, I like to start a workout with a nice aerobic warm up, go into some cardio or high intensity training, do a focused strength training circuit, quickly burn out the entire body, and end working on flexibility and talking about nutrition!
A client of mine came to me at the beginning of my career, a type 2 diabetic, who had recently had a baby and was finding that everyday movements were difficult due to her weight and health problems. She was scared that if she continued to spiral she would not be able to see the biggest moments in her baby's life. Using a three day a week program, where we focused on getting her nutrition back on track, exercise for weight loss, flexibility, and over all body mobility, we changed her life. She lost 40 pounds in the first year (a total of 160 now that we have worked together for 3 years). But even more than the number on the scale, she was able to sit, and bend as well as play down on the floor with her growing baby.
