Sal is a motivator, educator and movement specialist. He harnesses his passion for human movement and learning to provide enthusiastic guidance to those on a mission to become fit and functional. Sal came into the fitness industry as an overweight teenager. By working out and adopting a healthy lifestyle, he was able reach and maintain his goals. After he found his way to personal health and wellness, Sal decided that he wanted to help others do the same. Simply training people however, wasn’t enough. Sal wanted to truly understand the body. Over the next ten years his studies and personal experience with almost every aspect of movement and teaching – from rehab to sports performance and kickboxing - led him to develop his own method of purposeful movement, applied movements.
