About Me

Hi, my name is Ryan. I started my fitness journey in 2004 as a senior in high school. My goal was to get into the best shape of my life because I was set to fly out to bootcamp a few weeks after graduation. In the service, one of my favorite duties was being a leader for physical training in which I was responsible to plan, prepare, and execute the daily group training sessions for my unit. After eight years in the service, I realized that my true passion was for fitness and helping people reach their own goals. I achieved my certification with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) in 2008 and since then I have worked as a trainer for 24-Hour Fitness as well as smaller private gyms across the country. I began competing in the National Physique Committee (NPC) in 2013. This is when I learned the most, through trial and error, on what it takes to reach an elite level of fitness through the science of optimal training and nutrition. My passion is sharing the knowledge that I've gained in the past decade to help others achieve their own goals that match perfectly with their lifestyle to make fitness a more manageable aspect of everyone’s lives.

What to Expect

We will run through a proper warm-up followed by strength training with detailed instruction on how to execute each lift with proper form and tempo. Depending on the clients physical fitness level we will add more intensity and advanced techniques as well as combine exercise with little or no break. Lastly we will provide a cool down with stretching. Once or twice a week we will assess results by taking measurements and weight.

My client Manny, age 32, dropped 30 lbs in 12 weeks. He started at 217 lbs and every week dropped 2-3 lbs a week. Before he came to me he admitted he had a drinking problem and was in the worst shape of his life. By week 12 he was in the best shape of his life and had reach his lowest weight since high school.

He is the kind of trainer whose positivity makes it easy to discuss your fitness goals and body insecurities. This alone is one of the reasons that I wanted to work with Ryan. I never felt judged by or looked down upon for not being 100 percent each week. I moved to Italy and needed help getting myself back into shape. My goal was to lose 10 pounds and I was able to lose 15 and have kept them off.
