Hi, my name is Ron. I started my own company two years ago, Fit Life PT, with the belief that the best way to achieve an optimal fitness level is through integrated, movement-based training. Our bodies are designed to move through space while stabilizing its own weight, as well as with added load. I believe that training, based on the five foundations of movement (push, pull, rotation, change in center of mass, and locomotion) in addition to developing strong core stabilization and proper nutrition, is the best way to obtain peak fitness. It is my mission to help as many people as I can to truly live the fit life.
My typical client can expect to use (or learn how to use) various tools including TRX, kettlebells, stability balls, medicine balls, body bars, agility tools, etc. in addition to body weight exercises. Training sessions using the aforementioned tools will be used to help the client improve their strength and conditioning, movement, range of motion, stability, balance, and power. With the exception of the cable machine, I don't typically train using machines except in very specific circumstances.
"I started working out with Ron in December 2016. Now, six months later, I have gained muscle and lost fat! Hiring Ron as my personal trainer was one of the best health decisions I have ever made. Ron thoroughly explains and demonstrates the proper way to perform each exercise to maximize results while avoiding injury. Also, knowing I have appointments to keep with Ron helps to keep my workout schedule on target. Part of Ron’s philosophy is to exercise your body the way you use it: whole body workouts. During exercise sessions, his positive encouragement helps to keep me motivated. I really cannot say I’m a couch potato any longer. I feel stronger every week! I highly recommend Ron as a personal trainer for any age or ability level" - Cathleen M. Fit Life PT Client
