About Me

Philip was originally born in Accra, Ghana and moved to the states with his family when he was young. He studied neuroscience in his undergrad life at Indiana University. He then studied at Boston University, obtaining his masters in health sciences. Philip’s passions have always been reflected in his life as he served as a dental assistant, medical scribe, pharmaceutical assistant, and currently as a certified personal trainer. His ultimate goal is to help people physically, but emotional and spiritual health is just as, if not more important.

What to Expect

What you can expect is someone that believes in your potential. I encourage, but I also make sure not just to be a cheerleader but to correctly coach form — stability in every movement. No movement is wasted, and every action has a purpose. That is my philosophy.

In my training sessions, you can expect me to have specific workouts for your needs. Whether you want aerobics or strength, I can guide you to your ambitions of reaching your goal. I currently work part-time in a wellness facility that is geared towards safety and progression.

I don't care so much about "gains," but your learning and connecting more with your body. Don't get me wrong, I'll still going to push you, but my overall goal is wellness. Fitness is just one component of taking care of the bodies we have. I currently shadow and observe a physical therapist and have aspirations to start physical therapy school in the distant future. To me, I'm more than just a personal trainer, I'm a wellness coach, and I'm here to serve you the best way I can.
