Hi, my name is Phil. I am a collegiate athlete/coach, retired Olympic athlete, and a current power lifter who enjoys camping/hiking and being outside. My passion and education (Masters degree in exercise physiology), lies in not only helping anyone I can but educating them to better understand why it will help.
A session usually starts with a warm up, then goes into hip/shoulder/core activation drills to ensure proper positioning during training. After the activation (depending on your goals), we will perform plyos, strength movements, followed up with smaller "prehab" movements and finish the session with either core or conditioning. All sessions last an hour in duration.
I have worked with ages ranging from 9 - 65 including everyone from weight loss to professional athletes. My biggest success would not be the athletes but a mid 50's working professional who had complete knee reconstruction 30yrs ago. When he first showed up there was No lateral movements and squats were on a very high box. No in only 7 months he is feeling very comfortable moving laterally and is even squatting with a bar on his back pain free!
