Hi, my name is Patricia. I am inspired to influence a healthy lifestyle due to my own family's medical history. During high school my father suffered a stroke that left the left side of his body paralyzed. This was caused by bad eating habits, diabetes, high cholesterol, and stress. As a family unit we learned to become his at home physical therapists, nutritionists, and nurses. I now hope to inspire my clients to make healthy choices for themselves and their loved ones. I received my personal training certification while studying at California Baptist University, where I completed my bachelor's in exercise science. I worked at the university as a personal trainer for students and as the campus' wellness coordinator intern. After graduation I began working at a retirement home as a wellness coordinator. There I train seniors and people with disabilities. Outside of work I continue training a diverse client base. They range from college students to working moms to retired seniors.

As a personal trainer at CBU a female student joined my 10 week program. Her goal was to lose weight. I trained her once a week and she worked out on her own 2 other times a week. I changed her diet with simple guidelines, worked on her sleeping habits, and time management. She was able to lose 10 lbs, or 1 lbs per week.
