Hi, my name is Nina. I am a ISSA Elite Personal Trainer, with 10 years of training experience. I have experience in weight loss, strength and endurance training, circuit training, functional training, nutritional guidance. I work with the aging population to help them maintain or regain active lives. I aspire to help my clients become the best version of themselves. Health goes beyond a physical workout. I help my clients better understand health and fitness so they can be empowered and take control of their health.

A typical training session is about more than the workout. The 60 minute session includes an exercise program, stretching, discussions about health topics, covers how to address limiting factors, and how to adjust daily living to meet fitness goals. Additionally, I am a clients trainer 24/7. We can also communicate outside of regular training sessions if needed.
One of my clients is 60. She was having a difficult time losing weight and staying focused. I helped her identify that she was insulin resistant and that a few of her medications were affecting her ability to get healthier. I worked with her daily on her eating plan while she worked with her doctor to get the medications she needed for her condition. She began losing weight shortly thereafter. And continues to work hard because she sees the importance of managing, and caring for her health.

Nina is a total trainer. Anyone can give you exercises to do, but Nina also helps you understand how what you eat affects the results that you’ll see and that you have to have a positive mental outlook – don’t think you can’t do something. There have been many times when I wanted to quit because I didn’t feel I could finish what we were working on, but Nina would encourage me not to give up by telling me “don’t quit – you can do this” and I did it! I look forward to our training sessions each week!
