About Me

Hi, my name is Monica. I've lived the life being a personal training client for 3 years, losing over 30 lbs, numerous inches and having run 3 marathons, a half marathon and a ton of 5Ks.

I've lived the daily battles of getting up to work out, adjusted my nutrition and ultimately changed my life.

Having being there, I know the emotional, physical and mental roller coaster that comes with being on a weight loss/self discovery journey.

All you need to do is take that first step to decide to make a change for the better, I promise to hold your hand the rest of the way through.

I have been working out under Monica's guidance for just over one year. She is patient and kind, is respectful of different goals, and is a lot of fun to be around! She never disrespects me by pushing an agenda of her own, but uses her knowledge to help me reach greater levels of strength and mobility and health. I've been training with Monica for almost a year and a half now and it's truly been a wonderful experience. Monica is always incredibly thoughtful, funny, and encouraging. Monica approaches training from a really unique perspective, she changes workouts up so you never get bored (but there's always a pattern or reason for what she's doing that will overall impact your fitness levels!) We often switch it up from weights, to cardio, to HIIT, to kickboxing, Monica even created a fun training game based on Game of Throne (Game of Groans lol.) Her creativity is never ending and is great for those of you (like me) who may be bored easily with workouts.

The best part about Monica is how easy she is to communicate with and the care and concern she has for you as a client. An example, maybe you've been a little tired the last few weeks of training, feeling unable to do as much, Monica will sit and talk with you to see what's going on maybe in your life, or your diet, are you sleeping ok, let's figure out what might be going on with you so we can help you reach your fitness goals better. It's these personal things that really make training with Monica a truly unique experience, I can't recommend her enough, she's truly changed my life!

Through the past 2 years RB Fit has transformed my life to think about fitness and nutrition in a complete new light. Since being in top shape in high school and college, life happened and nutrition and fitness did not take top priority. After visiting my doctor 2 years ago, my levels of cholesterol were high and had high sugar counts. My family also has a history of heart problems.

When given a new nutrition plan and training from Monica, I not only have lost the weight I have also never been stronger and more confident. The best part of her meal plans is that they have the perfect balance and her recipes taste great. What is most impressive that in the gym she is a teacher and not a trainer who is constantly screaming at you. She tells you why what you are doing is important and breaks it down to the science. I have also joined her group sessions where experts and beginners can join the same session and still feel like they are getting 1-1 attention and a great workout. She listens to you and really understands what you need and sets a plan to get there. You can really tell she isn't in this for the money, she is in this to make a difference in people's lives. She really has in mine.
