Misty combined her love of sports and her psychology degree to become the premier personal trainer she is today. Growing up, she played multiple sports, including softball. She entered college on a softball scholarship where she also played soccer. After she graduated college, she moved to Florida where she began a career in the hospitality industry. However, hospitality was not hospitable to her. She was no longer playing sports and began to gain weight and become depressed. Deciding then that her physical and mental health was more important to her, she changed her career. She achieved her certifications as a NASM-Certified Personal Trainer and corrective exercise specialist. She began to train to run 5Ks, half marathons and to compete in triathlons. She launched Sport!ve to help others like herself to pursue their own excellence. She specializes in helping women to be mentally and physically fit at any stage of their life.

First we have a meet and greet at a convenient location. Here we get to know each other and make sure the client is comfortable. Session 1 - This session starts with assessments, including static and dynamic postural assessments as well as weight and measurements. Session 2 - Taking the information gathered in the assessments session and building a program. Here we will begin corrective exercise where needed and start the stability stage of training depending on client goals. Session 3 - Answer any questions thus far about training and how we will proceed. Again making sure the client and myself are on the same page about client goals and how we will achieve them together.
