About Me

Hi, my name is Miguel. Throughout my whole life my major interest has always been staying physically active and helping others. I grew up in Houston, Tx (Cypress area), and participated in soccer since I was 8-years-old. I was never the player that was totally fit but I surely was always fully determined to play my best. Luckily, I got the opportunity to play four years in college for McMurry University where I received a degree in Exercise Science and Human Performance. A year later, I was approved for a Masters Program at Leeds Beckett University (Leeds, UK) where I also received a degree in Sports Business. While never really hanging up the boots, now my time is taken by playing and coaching the sport I love, as well as, helping others achieve their fitness goals through personal and group training.

What to Expect

Training sessions are divided in three categories starting with a warm-up, followed by training specification, and ending with a cool down. Training is based on the client's goals and fitness levels, and as progression develops the routine will always change to challenge and achieve greater results.

I knew Julia from high school, and when she first came to me I was stoked to be able work with a long-term friend. It had been quite a few years of not seeing each other in person or keeping any sort of contact, but when she first came to me for help, I could tell she was extremely disappointed with the way she looked, felt, and very concerned with her future. You see, Julia, in high school, played for our women's varsity soccer program and she was a well rounded athlete. When we met again she told me of a recent doctor's visit, where she was notified of the possible risks she might be incurring due to her weight. The worst part was that by her being over weight, she was in a dangerous position to start a family. This was the worst news her and her husband could receive and they were both very confused. Long story short, I have been working with Julia for about a month and a half now. We modified her diet, but she has also been killing it in our work out routines. Julia recently came to with a huge smile in her face and told she went from a size 14 to a size 8, and she was wearing clothes she never thought she would be able wear again. She is extremely happy with her results so far, and her last doctor's visit was definitely a positive one. I am very proud of her accomplishments and moments like this are what makes personal training the best life experience!

I started working out with Miguel on July 1st 2016 after a visit from the doctor. I have been trying to have a bay for years and have had no luck. I reached out to Miguel because my Dr. Suggested I needed go work on getting healthy and lose a couple of pounds to start a treatment. My goal was to lose about 25 lbs in 3 months . He has been my rock through the most difficult times. He is patient, and most importantly he cares. He takes the time to teach me the work outs and stays with me until I get it. He never gets frustrated and most importantly he never stops. He is my #1 fan and The most amazing Trainer I have ever worked with!!!! He trully is the best!!!
