My name is Melanie. Approximately 6 years ago I officially experienced what some would say was a “mid-life crisis”. I was overweight, depressed, had no energy, no motivation to go anywhere or do anything. More often than not “I ate my feelings”. Somewhere in the midst of all that negativity I came the realization that I did not want to feel like this anymore. No one could fix this for me. I had to get off my butt and do it myself. I wanted my “Joy” back. I wanted to be happy again. I researched and found a diet that worked for me. I started walking every day and most importantly I got my mind right. Was it easy? Heck no. I had my ups and downs just like anyone else. Was it worth it? Absolutely! To this day I consistently strive to better my health. I recently received my Master Health & Wellness Coaching Certification from Spencer Institute and have now completed my Coaching Certification for GetFit21. This is the journey I want to share with each and every one of you. Maybe what I have learned and experienced will help you along the way.

What to Expect

We would initially start with a consult during your first session. During this time we would identify your strengths, limitations and the goals you wish to achieve. Together as a team we would customize a fitness and / or nutrition plan to help you achieve your goals. You first session would finish with a short workout to determine your fitness level. Session # 2 we get to work in the privacy of your own home with the customized plan we have developed for you!
