About Me

I spent more than a decade working high stress jobs with little job satisfaction. Every day I was working I was cutting my life expectancy short. I thought my health was always important to me, but I didn’t appreciate the psychological aspect of health. I have always worked out fairly regularly, and maintained a pretty healthy diet. I trained in MMA with American Top Team and Elite MMA for more than two years, I’m an avid mountain bike rider, and I am usually involved in some sort of athletic event. That wasn't enough to keep me healthy with all the stress from what I was doing for a living. I woke up one morning and decided I want to live as long as I possibly can with as little stress as possible. I thought the best way to do that is to dive head first into the fitness industry and devote the rest of my life to learning everything I can about health and fitness. Since I starting Training, I have never been happier. I look forward to waking up every morning and getting my day started. I love helping people become happier with the way they look and feel. My favorite part of my job now is when a client sees results and starts to really feel better about themselves. I look forward to a long life of health and fitness and all of the people that I am going to meet along my path. My favorite client success story would have to be my mother in law. She has struggled with being overweight since I have known her for the past several years. She had poor balance, a weak core, inefficient cardio and very little upper and lower body strength. After just two months not only has she dropped two pants sizes but her balance has improved and her core as well as upper and lower body are much stronger. My favorite part though is that after the two months we went for a jog to warm up for the first time, and she jogged nearly half the time (about half a mile). Pretty good for someone who hasn't jogged in decades.

What to Expect

I generally hold a one hour session. I start off every session with mobility, which includes foam rolling as well as active isolated and dynamic stretching. After that we will do some form of cardio to warmup. Then we will focus on core and balance training. Once we complete that, we start on resistance training. I work with a lot of overweight clients, so we do a lot of circuit and interval training to burn as many calories as possible. We finish with a cool down.
