Hi everybody, my name is Maxim (call me Max). I’ve been training myself many years for peak athletic performance and recently decided to go pro and help others do the same. I have a background in MMA such as the Israeli ‘Krav Maga’ and the Russian ‘SOMBO’ as well as years of Downhill Mountain skiing and Olympic-style Sprinting and the necessary weight/resistance and endurance training associated with improving one's capabilities in all those areas. I therefore believe in what I like to call ‘functional fitness’: training not just to look good but to be able to PERFORM (although the two can and do go hand-in-hand when you train with me). I know everybody comes from different backgrounds and has different goals and thus one size does not fit all, as they say. Therefore I begin all my sessions with an initial physical assessment to understand your current capabilities, any possible limitations and of course, your individual goals. Together we create a program, a plan, a road map that gets you from where you are now to where you want to be. As a skilled chef and nutritionist, I can advise you on that highly important segment of your self-improvement endeavor – your diet. I can teach you everything you need to know about what, when and how to eat as well as provide you with customized diet plans and homemade, delicious but healthy meals, made by yours truly.
During the first session I will evaluate your abilities and goals to design a program, to reach your as quickly as possible. I will also make a nutritional plan to be followed during your training time as well as provide 'homework' training suggestions on days you are not working with me one on one.
I have helped a number clients lose over twenty pounds of body fat, while increasing their endurance, muscle mass and over all health.
