Hi, my name is Matthew. I am an endurance athlete, racewalker, coach, and official. For over 20 years, I have run and racewalked over a dozen marathons, multiple ultra marathons, one 50-miler, one 100km, and completed 89 miles in 24 hours. I have competed in the Boston Marathon, two Olympic Trials, multiple national track and field championships, and in Rome, Italy, for Team USA. I have been an assistant coach for a national championship men's cross-country team, multiple collegiate All-Americans, and multiple national championship competitors.
In a typical session, expect a warm-up, stretching and flexibility drills, strides, the main workout (could include repetitions, intervals, or a race effort trial), and finished with a cool-down. Throughout the session, expect tips on technique and how to be successful throughout the training program.
