A few months ago my doctor told me that I was obese and needed to loose weight. Wow, I didn't realize I was that big... I was embarrassed and ashamed and realized that I was constantly making excuses as to why the number had gotten so big and why I deserved that chocolate or donut. For me loosing weight is not about being skinny. It's about being healthy and feeling good in my own skin! I want to be able to chase my son and play with him without getting quickly winded or feeling self conscious.
