Hi, my name is Maryellen. I wanted to get people motivated about their health and fitness. Obesity is a real problem in this country. Educating people on the best way to be healthy and active and fit is a great job. So many people want to do the right thing for themselves but just don't know how to go about doing it. I was able to lose the weight I put on after having 3 kids and I want to help others do the same. I am a 3 time NYC Marathon finisher. I have also completed numerous 5K, 10k and half marathons.

My sessions are an hour long. We start with an easy warm up just to get the heart rate up and muscles warm then the work begins. The work out is determined by what the specific goals of the client may be. Generally, I will do mostly resistance/strength and toning training with bouts of high intensity cardio to build endurance. But again, the session is based on the fitness goals of the client so all workouts will differ from client to client. I have been training clients since 2010. I started out as a trainer at a well known gym and after completing my personal trainer certification I started my own business.
