My name is Mark. Currently, I am a trainer at Excell Fitness. I absolutely love fitness and helping people reach their goals. I was a competitive cheerleader and football player for years before I began bodybuilding full time. I am excited to help all levels of skill and absolutely love helping beginners get acquainted with the weights or help them reach their goals. I am currently obtaining a degree in health and human performance and work in the University fitness center, helping students with their fitness goals.

Depending on your goals, we would most likely start with some stretches and movement exercises that loosens up some muscles and targets the areas we want. From there we will get into the bulk of the workout where we use weights or body weight training to condition the body and start to build muscle or burn fat. We will end with some light cardio to get the muscles moving again and release some lactic acid before finishing off with some dynamic stretching.
One of my clients came to me with an 85 lb bench press, wanting to reach much higher weights for basketball tryouts. We continued work through 4 months to build his pectorals up as well as his lats and core to reach his goal. Not only did we get his bench press up to 225 lb by tryouts, we were able to increase his squats and increase his arm size by 2 inches.
