About Me

I am an AFAA-certified personal trainer, group exercise instructor and wellness coach. Throughout my career in fitness, I've accumulated many certifications and have worked at many of Philadelphia's best gyms, condominiums, and five diamond hotels offering fitness services for children, adults and older adults. I've helped clients rehabilitate after surgery, increase their muscle mass, learn to dance, enjoy yoga with modifications, and I've helped clients transform their bodies while coaching them electronically and training them in their homes (see pictures at fitbymarie.com). What to Expect

I like to have a phone consult to get to know a little about my clients and review health, safety, and goals. This allows me to maximize our time together so that we can get right to work when we meet. I am experienced in many different formats, which enables me to create workouts that are fun, challenging, and respectful of any limitations. A typical session includes a warm-up, training in a format that is conducive to a person's goal, and a cool down which includes assisted stretching.
