I was born and raised in Puerto Rico. I have led an active lifestyle since childhood, involved in a variety of sports including gymnastics, volleyball and track & field.I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science and I'm certified as a Health & Fitness Specialist with ACSM, the American College of Sports Medicine.I have worked in this industry for over 13 years across the United States as a Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor at highly respectable health clubs such as Gainesville Health & Fitness Center in Gainesville, FL and The Sports Club/LA Irvine in Irvine, CA. I am presently is motivating and keeping people healthy at Lely Resort's Players Club and Spa and at The Ritz Carlton Hotel in Naples, FL.I had the great opportunity to work with the Army National Guard as a Warrior Fit Camp Instructor, where I was part of a team to help prepare recruits for Basic Training, Boot Camp and/or Deployment. In May 2010 I was also featured in Oxygen Magazine‘s May 2010 Issue, “Future of Fitness.”I love the beautiful weather in sunny SW Florida, I make sure to have a couple of my exercise routines per week outdoors. i love to participate in the famous 10K Mud Run in Oceanside, CA and beach volleyball throughout the year.“Strong Mind Strong Body” is a one-woman company and I hope to reach as many lives as possible to help them live healthier lifestyles, improve their positive thinking and strengthen their minds.
