Helping you get to the healthy weight you need to be at while making sure to address the areas where you feel pain or where people often get hurt (back, knees, and shoulders).I have experienced pain myself and have also been overweight with a higher bodyfat percentage than was healthy. My goal is to use my NASM certified personal training and my education in helping people become pain free through proper body alignment and stretching to help people increase their value of life. What to Expect

After an initial assessment, all my clients show up and do a quick warmup/stretch which involves "rolling" and discussing any problem areas. We then get to work using a combination of weights, bands, machines, bodyweight, kettle bells, boxing equipment and more to increase lean muscle mass and lose fat. Once a week, we evaluate progress and goals. ----------------------------------------- SMALL GROUP TRAINING: Sessions are done in groups of 1-3 people at times that work in your schedule. A typical session includes 15 minutes of stretching and rolling/warm-up, and 45 minutes of working out. In group sessions, MODIFICATIONS are made for all fitness levels and limitations, so you still get that personalized attention. ----------------------------------------- FREEBIES: *Online App/Portal to keep track of progress stats and pics, your ideal nutrition plan, and of course all your workouts= FREE! *Twice a Month Coffee Discussions on Nutrition, Motivation and Lifestyle Practicals= FREE! My current client... we will call her MAGGIE... came to me with walls up and many fears. She was very open about her fears and personal struggles and how they related to her becoming obese over the years. I was so thrilled she let me in and gave me a chance to get to know her and help her start reaching her goals. She has lost 30lb since starting with me 3 months ago, and has become one of the most intense "fighters" when my clients get together for our weekly boxing training session. In our one-on-one sessions, she comes in straight from her nightshift and gets to work. One time she wanted to skip a workout because her knee was aching, but I assured her we could work around her injury but also focus on the cause of that pain and work on diminishing it, so that she would have full use of her body. She messaged me after that session to share how grateful she was for this attention and the great workout she got, knee-pain free! This is why I do what I do. From diet accountability to challenging workouts, to just being a friend, she models the exact qualities I want in a trainer. Marie is a very knowledgeable trainer that will work with you on your fitness goals. She will you meet you at your current fitness level and guide you into reach the next level. I am very appreciative of how she can modify exercises to meet me at my current body limitations. I work 12 hours shifts on nights so she works with me on finding the right time for me to come train with her. This is the first time that I truly feel like I am not alone on this fitness journey. Marie has been exceptionally helpful with my situation as I'm dealing with getting a new prosthetic right knee. I have a great deal of trouble with pain, flexibility, and mobility stemming from injuries sustained during my military service. She has been instrumental in working with my limitations, where her knowledge and technique working with these restrictions have allowed me to maintain a good level of physical fitness. Working with her, the injuries were not aggravated or further damaged which has made coming to the gym all the more enjoyable. Marie is absolutely THE best trainer! When I finally decided I needed help to get to my fitness goals- I was scared and hesitant because it is intimidating being vulnerable and held accountable in that way. But Thankfully I came across Marie, she’s really encouraging and down to earth, but she pushes me to do my best. Working out has become a lot more fun/interesting and I look forward to all the different workouts Marie comes up with and I feel really accomplished after every workout :D . Not only do I get the encouragement I need at the gym, she has helped me stay committed through consistent communication and checking in. Also, I feel comfortable asking questions when I need to.
