About Me

Hi, my name is Maria. I am an experienced, friendly, and committed fitness trainer. I am passionate about not only helping you achieve your fitness goals, but providing you with the knowledge and insight to make a success lifestyle change!

I started my personal journey 4 years ago and fell in love with the progress and the process. Being a master of your body is the most empowering feeling and I want to pass along that feeling to you! Whatever your goal may be, let me support and guide you on your journey to getting there!

What to Expect

You can always expect commitment, communication and participation with me. Not only do I thoroughly lay out the expectations of our session, but i also walk you through each workout, each motion and I am constantly checking "temperature" along the way for accuracy or discomfort. It is most important to master the motions before moving on, the strength will come along. My goal isn't to train you forever, sorry! My goal is to provide you with the tools and knowledge to change your own life!

My philosophy is based off mastering the fundamentals; Repetition and building strength by successfully connecting your mind to your muscles and listening to your body.

My clients always leave a session with me feeling knowledgeable, as if they have the tools to succeed when they don't have my guidance. They leave every session having learned how to activate a new muscle, and feeling sore in places they've never felt before!

I had a male client with a wide build, he knew how to do very basic things in the gym to get by, he hadn't been seeing much difference or change in his body, he was working out but looking the same for a few years. I helped him master his form on the workouts he already knew and taught him the basics to advanced movements and motion training. When he had his first session with me he had no lower body strength, was only able to squat 125lbs as his max, without reaching much depth. By the time we ended our training sessions he was able to do deep squats at a max of 315lbs.

Breaking PR's and doing them right is what I am all about! The progress will come along the way, I promise, but you have to fall in love with the process!
