I have been in the fitness industry for more than 25 years. Much of that time has been teaching a variety of fitness classes, from cardio kickboxing to step aerobics, pilates and boot camp. I have also trained a variety of ages with different fitness goals. Most of my clients have goals of losing weight, improving athletic performance or gaining lean muscle mass. My primary profession has been in technical sales, mechanical engineering and math education. I maintain my certifications in the fitness field because it is a passion for me to help others reach their fitness goals. I believe a majority of those seeking to improve their fitness level can accomplish their goals without the gym, but I do believe having machine options has tremendous benefits as well. Depending on my clients goals, we will progress in strength, flexibility and weight loss each session, and measure along the way. I constantly remind my clients how to breathe and maintain correct form for safety and maximum effectiveness. I believe strongly that each moment of your workout matters, so it should be used productively.
