Hi, my name is Lindsey. I began my training career as a certified personal trainer with 24 Hour Fitness. I worked with a large number of clients but saw that my ability to help others was limited by 1. Their possession of an expensive membership 2. The availability of affordable training options. I saw the need and desire for all people, regardless of their financial status to get into their ideal shape. I decided that I could apply my passion better in this capacity by providing high quality training and guidance at affordable prices. I currently work from a private gym Platinum Fitness in San Diego. I am certified through NASM ( National Academy of Sports Medicine) and TRX. I mainly focus on weight loss and maintaining fitness goals to improve my clients overall quality of life. I work with all age groups as I believe that both mental and physical health should be an option for everyone.

Client Success Story

I met Lindsey in 2018 totally by chance and have never been more thankful. In 2016 I was diagnosed with a thyroid problem. I went from weighing 105 pounds (pre thyroid) to weighing 165 in a little less than a year. A 60 pound weight gain in one year. I was very self conscious, none of my clothes fit and I was intimidated going to the gym. I had a gym membership but since I had been so sick for two years I had no idea what to do. I’d just go in a walk on the treadmill because I was scared to ask for help. That’s when I came across Lindsey by referral from a friend of a friend. I took a chance and messaged Lindsey. We talked for a bit, she really took the time to get to know me and my goals and ultimately she made me feel comfortable that I scheduled an in person consult with her. That first day I was struggling. We did a “light” upper body workout. I had to start out using a 5 pound dumbbell (I couldn’t even lift the 10pound dumbbell), I needed to lay on the floor to help support myself and I had to take a break every few minutes because I couldn’t keep up. During the workout Lindsey would modify the exercise to better suit my needs and helped me understand why I needed to do things a certain way to avoid injury. All my muscle had atrophied due to my thyroid problem. I went from being a competitive cheerleader 4 years earlier to not being able to lift a 10 pound dumbbell. I was embarrassed and wanted to quit but Lindsey helped me push through that workout. I decided to sign up for a month of her training, after the month I was hooked. She was available any time to answer my questions and concerns, she was compassionate on the days when I felt sick and was in pain, she pushed me on the days I felt like giving up and ultimately was my biggest cheerleader. Now almost a year later I’m down 30 pounds and 4 pant sizes. I can manage my hour long workouts without having to take a break every two minutes and I feel so much healthier and stronger. I haven’t had any muscle or joint pain in months, when before starting with Lindsey it was an every day occurrence. The meal plan she put me on is something sustainable for my lifestyle and is not a fad diet. I have a healthy relationship with the gym and food. I don’t feel guilty for missing a day and have no guilt eating something that isn’t on my meal plan. Overall I would recommend Lindsey over and over to anyone looking for a trainer. You’ll not only get a trainer but also a great friend. Submitted by Melissa B****

Everything was great! Lindsey walked me through proper techniques and made sure I stayed safe during difficult exercises. She was super encouraging and supportive the entire session. Her personality was open and very friendly. She accommodated when I needed breaks and worked with me. I had an excellent time.
