I am 46 years of age and in the best shape of my life! My desire is to help people feel healthy, look healthy and be the best they can possibly be! This can be achieved no matter who you are! I believe it is possible without spending a lot of money. We'll use basic weights to tone and build strength. With free weights you have the flexibility of training almost anywhere while saving money and also building stabilizing muscles, using your full range of movement and with endless variations. Free weights allow you to train your body for functional movements. This will help to prevent injury from simple moves that help us get through our day at work, playing with the grandchildren, and basic everyday tasks.

I was certified only recently as a personal trainer but I have my own success story. I was always active but a little overweight. I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2001 so I started doing the City to Shore MS Ride (150 miles) every year. Then I found out I have high cholesterol and high blood pressure. My doctor wanted to put me on medications at the age of 40! I proceeded to lose weight through eating right and exercise and kept it off, lowering both my blood pressure and cholesterol levels. Today I am in the best condition I have ever been in even though I have MS and also asthma. I am currently training to run the NYC marathon!
