What started as my own journey to better health and fitness has turned into a true passion for helping others. In my 40s, I was dealing with a bunch of health issues and constant fatigue, so I decided to make fitness a priority. The results were amazing—I got my health and energy back and found a new joy in keeping up with my active family. This transformation inspired me to help others achieve their own health goals. My fitness classes are a bit different. I’m a certified trainer, but I also have a background in comedy and entertainment. I believe exercise should be fun and never boring, so I try to make every session a blast and put a smile on everyone’s face. When working out feels more like playing a game than doing a chore, it’s easier to stick with it and see real results. I’m certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), and I’m also an ACE Group Fitness Trainer and Youth Fitness Specialist. I love cycling and compete in obstacle course races every year. When I’m not training, I enjoy photography and traveling with my wife and two daughters. I trained a client who just wanted to loose some weight and look better at first. He ended up signing up for a first 10K run and then proceeded to joining OCR races and continuing training on his own which resulted in a loss of 100 lbs over a year. Healthy habits is what I strife to do with every client and feel great when they are on their own. I believe that gaining healthy habits is not a goal, it's a matter of lifestyle. I recommend Leo to anyone and everyone seeking to improve their overall health and fitness. Leo helped my 15 year old son who is not naturally athletically inclined. Leo worked with him to build his core strength and endurance. Leo also discussed the importance nutrition with my son since it can be difficult for a 15 year old to utilize good judgment when making decisions on what to eat and when to eat. Leo was always kind while firmly motivating my son to do his best. Leo customizes each exercise plan based on the individual needs and location.
Leonard is an awesome trainer. I've taken his HIIT training class and in a few sessions I already feel stronger and my endurance has increased exponentially. He's tough, motivating and fun.
Leonard does a phenomenal job pushing you to your max while preventing you from commiting any injuries. He made sure to stop and show me proper form when needed. We had high intensity training sessions to help me get back into shape. I also joined his functional training group sessions a couple of times which were really fun to join. He also helped me with my diet and gave me recommendations on certain foods to prevent from eating to meet my goal. He is a very fun, patient, and passionate personal trainer. I would highly recommend Leonard since he takes his coaching very serious helping you achieve your overall goal.
Leonard was great as a personal trainer. He developed a workout tailored to my needs and was very instructive as he explained the movements. He helped me with my form when needed and was very encouraging. He also ran a bootcamp with my kids and they loved it as well. I would highly recommend his services!
