Hello! My name is Lauren and I'm a 24-year-old medical student at the University of Miami. I graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in May 2019. Being a part of the military opened my eyes to how many people had not been exposed to proper lifting techniques -- something I was lucky enough to learn while I was a cheerleader during my high school years. While completing my undergrad as a cadet, I quickly gained a reputation for teaching people how to incorporate fitness towards their goals and walk into the gym with confidence. I worked in my school's gym both as a training resource and maintaining the facility. This inspired me to earn my personal training certification so I could continue helping people with knowledge and confidence. I am passionate about creating healthy and fit lifestyles for my clients!

What to Expect

My ultimate goal is to completely cater your training to your individual goals and expectations. Whether it's getting more toned, weight loss, gaining strength, etc., I'm here to make your personal training session tailored to what you need. This means most of the work will be communication beforehand so that I know exactly what these goals of yours are. At the training session, I will first map out the initial plan I've made for our session so you know what to expect and we can make any changes or discuss any questions and concerns. I will then coach you through each portion by first demonstrating the movement and then coaching you through it. My number one concern is that you are performing each rep with proper form, so I will always watch for that. Ultimately, your training session will be carefully thought out to match your goals. You can expect to be challenged, yet motivated to achieve your fitness goals!

Client Success Story

I helped many classmates at the Academy achieve their fitness goals, usually related to fat loss and/or muscle gain. In particular, I'm proud of one friend and client who wanted to achieve a more "toned" look. We were able to drop her body fat percentage by 4% over the course of 9 months while actually slightly increasing her muscle density slightly. Even though her physical changes were awesome, my favorite part of her transformation was seeing her at the gym being able to confidently putting together workouts and lift weights on her own, and the pride she carried in her demeanor.
