Hello! My name is Lauren and I have a passion for fitness. My educational background is in exercise science and I hold a masters degree in public health. Since graduating I've worked as a personal trainer and group exercise instructor in a corporate setting, a physical therapy facility, a campus recreation center, and a Medical Facility Association certified wellness and fitness center. I'm looking forward to sweating and smiling with you through our sessions together whether that's towards feeling great in your body, running your first or fifth 5k, or toning up. Thanks for considering me and I hope to hear from you soon!

During our first session, we'll do a short fitness assessment to get your baseline measurements, talk about your motivations, barriers, expectations and goals, and finish up with a quick work out and assisted stretching. At a typical session, we'll start with a warm up to prep your body for the bulk of our session, the actual work out, and a cool down with assisted stretching. The work out will include a mix of body-weight training, plyometrics, weight lifting, and cardio tailored to your preferences and goals. I'm also available for remote health coaching. We'll talk about your goals and come up with a strategy to get you there. I'll provide accountability and encouragement throughout our time together.
I picked up a client from a trainer who was leaving our facility; we were to meet three times per week. She had been doing strength training with her trainer, cardio on her own, and Zumba twice per week. She was about 145 lbs and wanted to lose about 30 lbs. Though she said she was determined to get to her goal weight, she lacked the intensity needed to get results during our workouts. After a few weeks together with little progress, I called her out on her lack of effort and told her she needed to bring some fire if she wanted to see results. She agreed and with that and a switch was flipped! I challenged her in our workouts and she delivered. A few months later we did a fitness assessment to update her information and sure enough, she lost those 30 lbs and was happy with how she looked and felt.
