About Me

Hi, my name is LaAngelo. I'm from Prattville, AL where I have played sports from the age of 5 up until I graduated from college. I received a football scholarship to play football at Arkansas State University for 5 years (2009-2013). I graduated with my bachelors degree in interdisciplinary studies in 2013 and with my second bachelors degree in Exercise Science in 2015. I've been around fitness my whole life. even after my career in football ended I continued to go to the gym at least 4 times a week. I'm a laid back person in general but when I get into the gym I always get amped up and excited.

What to Expect

A client can expect me to meet them with a smile on my face. I will warm up with them first to get the blood flowing by doing some dynamic stretching. After that I will go into the workout and push and motivate the person through out the workout. I will instruct the client how to do certain exercises before they start them. I will always be watching them making sure they are doing the exercise correctly and so they wont bring harm to themselves or others. If i see them doing an exercise wrong I will correct them and make sure they do it correctly. I will also joke around, laugh, and if they want, talk to them about any serious situation. I want the client to be comfortable with me and to have fun and enjoy going to the gym, not dreading it.

I had a client that came to me who wanted to build muscle but no matter what he tried to do he could never get into the mood to go to the gym and was afraid because he was small and though he would get laughed at because he couldn't lift any heavy weight. I told him to not worry about what other think or say to you, that believe it or not, people say horrible things about me but I don't let it bother me because they're only word and they had to have a starting point just like you have now. So he and I trained together for about 4 months and coached him through most of his workouts and was his training partner. After about 4 months he went from 135 lb skinny guy to a 200 lb muscular guy. His bench max now is aroundaround 275lb, his squat max now is around 415lb, and his dead lift max is around 365lb.
