What are your goals for your health? How many hours in a week do you currently devote to physical exercise? I’m not salesman, I’m a coach. If you don’t show up physically and mentally ready to devote the time it takes, your goals will not become a reality. I had the opportunity to learn from world class coaches at Oklahoma State University. I then continued my education and physical curiosity into Crossfit. I have meshed performance with logical digressions and progressions to work for health and not just performance. First thing we need to do is outline the goals you have. I️ don’t take clients without goals nor do I expect you to take a trainer without expectations. These goals will dictate how many times you make it in to train. I’ve been training, couples, classes, and individuals for the past eight years. We come up with a plan for staying toned and healthy. Not just for the time you are a client, but for life. Systemizing your eating habits can turn your life around. Let’s get started on that today. I know not only what it takes to look healthy and strong, but to then actually use those aesthetics to be a well moving, highly coordinated athlete. Do you want to just look good? Or do you want to look good and move well? Injured? I have been trusted and depended on by dozens clients to coordinate their physical therapy routine. Need nutrition advice? There is no health without proper fueling of the body through the proper intake of nutrients. I am the consummate reminder of this inescapable fact. I have the right plan for mind, digestion, and body. I practice what I preach. Let’s get after it.

After my complete hip reconstruction I was in immense pain for 4 months. Slowly I felt the want to get back into physical movement. At 36 and a newly constructed hip I found it difficulty to do the things I loved. After working with Kyle and the system he’s built for me I’m happy to say I’m as strong as I was before my surgery.

Being 68 years old hasn’t stopped me or Kyle from working together for 3 years 3 times a week. I stared at 318 pounds and am down to 267 after listening to the advice and coaching. It’s changed my life and I can be me again.

I've been physically training for 8 years and I've never worked with such knowledgeable coaches as the coaches at CrossFit South Denver. Most of them have their L3 certification which means they've done extensive training so that they can be great movement coaches. I've made more progress on my strength and gymnastics skills in the past few years at South Denver than I had in my prior years at other gyms. Plus, it's a fun and welcoming community!

I joined Crossfit South Denver two and a half years ago; love the people, phenomenal coaches for all levels of athletes and good vibes! Kyle is a detailed instructor who breaks down all the movements and ensures you feel safe and comfortable while moving you through your fitness journey. The gym itself is very welcoming and you quickly feel like you belong. If you are interested in giving crossfit a try, want to improve your fitness or take yourself to the next level; this is the place for you!

I've been with Kyle for about 7 months now. I used to consider myself an athlete until I had a serious illness and several personal set backs sideline me. After 2 years of very little mobility and feeling awful about my health, I decided to look for a safe and fun gym to get my life back on track. I feel very lucky to have found Kyle.

I didn't think I would ever get back to where I was physically. I had no goals other than to show up when I could. Kyle was very patient - never made me feel bad about not having any direction in my gym life. He provided me with a safe place to grow at my own pace, while still pushing me in our work outs. I saw that he consistently went out of his way to help anyone and everyone with what ever their needs/goals were, whether it be technique or nutritional advice. After several months, I definitely noticed a difference in my physical abilities and attitude about my personal health. I started having goals again. Kyle is helping me achieve them. I think I'm at 80% of when I was at my peak. We're going to surpass that.

I highly recommend Kyle to anyone of any level of fitness level. His style of teaching, his technique, emphasis on safety, and magnificent beard is second to none.

Kyle is very knowledgeable in his field. The work he does with individuals is very thoughtful and he can work with any level of performance. He has helped me to get movement and athletics back into my life. Strength, mobility, power, speed, functional movement techniques, endurance training and mental toughness are built into the sessions. If you set a goal, Kyle will help you meet this goal. There is always something challenging in every session that pushes your mind to think differently and in turn changes the way you both view yourself and your abilities.

Great hands-on trainer who focuses on making sure movements and exercises are done properly before increasing weights. Prevents a lot of typical CrossFit injuries through his training style. Also really adds a social element to the class which makes you want to keep coming back.

Kyle is wonderful! He takes the time to make sure you are not only performing the exercises correctly but also having fun while doing it. The work outs are hard but the atmosphere makes it much more enjoyable when you are working out with friends.

I've known and trained with Kyle for several years at CrossFit South Denver. His knowledge of the form, function, and technique of the often complex and complicated movements involved in CrossFit is excellent, and he is able to instruct effectively and offer valuable feedback to help maximize my performance.

Kyle's CrossFit programming and sessions are what sets him apart form other boxes in my opinion. The warm-ups in particular emphasize not only mobility and targeted range of motion, but other components of fitness that I don't often see, such as speed/agility/quickness drills. The workouts themselves are well-planned and usually include 2-3 separate sections that keep you moving the entire hour (at appropriate intensities), and are both challenging and scale-able. The environment in Kyle's classes and at CFSD in general is welcoming and supportive.

Kyle is also a good communicator, a friendly and funny person, and an encouraging instructor. I'd recommend him to anyone looking for true quality in CrossFit instruction.
