My experience with Kenyon as my trainer was amazing! I had applied for the california highway patrol and was scheduled to take the physical ability entry exam. I was not in shape and nowhere near meeting the minimum requirements for testing. I contacted Kenyon at my loca gym and explained to him my situation. Although I only had a few weeks before testing, he decided to take the challenge and get me in shape to pass the exam. He really explained every workout and made me comprehend the benefits of what I was doing. He gave me a meal plan and focused on what I needed to succeed in my exam. Workout after workout I kept feeling motivated and definitely felt stronger. He is a professional and really knows what he is doing. Test date came and of course I passed everything in a heart beat. I was more than prepared for it and it felt great to pass it without any issues. Although I am not in the fitness shape i desire, I have continued to workout and follow what he taught me. Now I am waiting for my date to commence the CHP academy and I couldn't be more motivated. Kenyon really changed my perspective on working out and because of him I really enjoy doing it now and really feel a change.
Training with Kenyon has been one of my most difficult physical challenges to date. His work outs have forced me to overcome both mental and physical obstacles that were a huge part of living in chronic pain with a spinal injury. The combination of general conditioning, strength training and attention to proper form and technique have brought me further than I ever imagined I could be. He has coached me to understand the importance of practice, mobility, rest and proper nutrition as well as knowing when to listen to my body to prevent further injury. Most importantly, his high expectations have taught me to leave it all in the gym and set new goals each and every day.
