Hi, my name is Katie. I believe that being strong makes everything else in life easier - from carrying all your groceries in one trip, to crushing double black diamond ski lines. I’m passionate about coaching people to lift with solid technique so you build strength for the things you love to do outside of the gym. I’m a NASM-certified personal trainer with a specialty in corrective exercise. I also hold a certification from Precision Nutrition and teach my clients how to eat the foods they love while improving how they look, feel, and perform. A little about me, outside of the gym: I love snowboarding, climbing, camping, and hiking with my pup. I’m a craft beer connoisseur and love to travel and experience new foods and cultures.

A typical training session starts with a dynamic warm up to improve mobility and prep you for strength exercises. We focus on major movement patters, like squats, hip hinges, pushes, and pulls. Sessions typically end with a fun “finisher,” where you can push yourself. My goal is for you to leave every session feeling better than when you walked into the gym!
My clients are skiers, snowboarders, climbers, or former athletes who want to maintain their strength into their 40s, 50s, and beyond. Recently, a client I’ve worked with for about 3 years underwent knee replacement surgery. Her surgeon and physical therapist were impressed by her ability to move around immediately post-op, and she’s ahead of her rehab schedule. Because she rocked our training program leading up to her surgery, she’ll be able to ski this coming season. Hard work pays off.

I started training with Katie November 2019 honesty it was a great investment in my part she's patience willing to work around your pace and she cares for the people she trains. she helped stay on rack to reach my goals. she would answer any question about fitness I had and she won't try to sell you anything you don't need. All I can say is give her a chance she will help with your goals.
