Hi there! My name is Katie Mack and I have been training for 10 years. My training specialities are fat loss and toning through strength training and sound nutrition, through a holistic lens. During my time in the fitness industry and through my own self-development, I have found a stunning interest in mind-body medicine - particularly in the connection between past emotional and physical traumas and current day health and well-being. Trauma of any sort impacts our mind and body - through measures and aspects such as blood pressure, heart rate, posture, senses, and self-image. With this in mind, we can use the body as a tool to help restore or improve these factors. Strength training, mindful movement and fitness are ways in which we may improve heart health, get more grounded and energetic, and create feelings of power, strength, stability and resilience.

I am a good listener and take someone's whole lifestyle into account when figuring out how I will structure someone's programming. I also want to know about someone's lifestyle so that I can help with their fitness, nutrition, and stress management outside of the gym to help optimize their results and health. I am a stickler for form, so I will be giving you my 100% attention and focus. I focus on execution of basic strength training movements done extremely well so as to get stronger and more efficient.
I have had multiple brides preparing for their wedding lose 10-15 within 3 months, which is always nice for someone at that time in their life. My real successes, however, are when clients tell me that they feel better, their various body pains have subsided, and they feel stronger and move more easily throughout their lives after starting to work with me.
