*DUE TO MY CURRENT WORK SCHEDULE - I AM ONLY ACCEPTING ONLINE/VIRTUAL TRAINING CLIENTS.* My name is Katelynn and I'm the owner/creator of Katalyst Fitness Company. Let me introduce myself with the hopes that we will be working together very soon. First and foremost, I am a human being. I live, breathe, and love like anyone else. I am a mom to a beautiful baby girl and a wife to a wonderful soldier. My family is my number one priority, which I hope you can understand. I have three pupparoos, all of who drive me crazy, but they’re cute. I have a Bachelor's and Master’s degrees in Health and Human Performance. I am a Certified Personal Fitness Trainer, Specialist in Strength and Conditioning, and Certified Nutrition Specialist through ISSA. I also work full-time as an office manager for a chiropractic office in Colorado Springs. While I love all things fitness, it doesn't always pay the bills. I have always had a passion for helping others embrace themselves and find their true potential. From playing competitive sports, coaching others, to working in a chiropractic office, I have embraced every opportunity to help in any way that I can. I started KHF with the hope of keeping my passions together. My training style is designed with you in mind. I cater to everyone differently because we are all unique. I build on that aspect and create individualized plans through one-on-ones so that we can find what works best for you. Whether you are near or far, let me help you spark your potential! *DUE TO MY CURRENT WORK SCHEDULE - I AM ONLY ACCEPTING ONLINE/VIRTUAL TRAINING CLIENTS.*

I always hold a consult to make sure the client is serious about training. Following the consult, we set a schedule for the first phase of sessions. A typical session ranges from an hour to an hour and a half. Training for longer than that causes clients to dread their workouts and lose interest. I like to keep the sessions short, sweet, and to the point. Depending on a client's goals depicts what kind of training split and how many days a week we will hold a session. Within a session, cardio and resistance training are usually involved.
JM was a client I had for a year. When we first started, she told me she wanted to start training to join the Army but she didn't have an athletic bone in her body. She couldn't even do a pushup. We started with the basics and worked very hard to get her ready for officer selection. By the time we went our separate ways, JM was confident enough to go into a gym and not be intimidated. I felt like our time together had been very beneficial for her, even though she decided not to follow through with her Army goals.
